  1. Would this be something similar to the toga of "hope and change," a garment (i.e., the emperor's new clothes) that has been (with emphasis on "has been") so inexplicably popular with so many people?

    Related to this notion of idealism, which is a noble concept when properly manifested in the right minds, I offer you instead (at my blog) a question or two about something related to idealism (mandates for charitable sharing) in Willa Cather's MY ANTONIA.
