Apparently, the story of the road to Emmaus (Luke 24: 13-35) has slipped Wills's mind. One might also observe that the most authentic stage of anything living is not its earliest stage, otherwise acorns would be the only authentic oak trees. Moreover, this article is proof that the Catholic Church hasn't shrunk enough, since Wills himself — who has long demonstrated that the only Gospel he believes in is the Gospel according to Garry — hasn't moved on yet.
